McDowell Safeguarding offers bespoke training and consultancy services, using interactive and engaging methods to help participants understand the complexities of safeguarding. With over 20 years of safeguarding experience across various sectors, we ensure that professionals at all levels are always confident to act in the best interest of the child.
Services Available
Bespoke Training
For staff teams both large and small in any setting.
For DSLs in schools (Primary, Secondary, Academies or Private sector).
For Voluntary and faith sector settings.
Topic based training, for example, County lines, Contextual Safeguarding, FGM, CSE, Adultification, and Affluent and Adolescent Neglect.
Supervision for DSLs and their teams.
Providing a regular space to reflect on your safeguarding practice, discuss case management and workload pressures.
This is a minimum of half termly and available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during term time.
Sessions are offered on a one to one basis or group sessions for the sharing of practice and learning.
Consultancy
Setting up reporting & recording systems.
Compliance and best practice.
Being ‘inspection ready’.
